Remove the screws securing the back cover

Gently pry up the battery connector from the bottom to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

Use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the battery.

Use a card or adhesive removal tool to gently pry the battery loose from the double-sided tape holding it in place.
