• Turn the laptop over and place it on a flat surface.
• Carefully inspect the bottom and locate all 13 screws. Using the appropriate screwdriver, unscrew them one by one.
• Remember to apply gentle pressure while unscrewing to avoid damaging the screw holes.

• After removing these screws, don't forget to take out the optical drive on the left side.
• The optical drive is usually secured with clips, which can be gently pressed or slid to remove.

• Use a plastic pry tool to carefully pry open the bottom casing.
• Start prying from one side and slowly work your way around the edges until the bottom casing completely separates.

NOTE: When inserting the pry tool, make sure not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the plastic clips.

• Once the bottom casing is removed, locate the battery. You will notice that the battery is secured with three screws.
• Use your screwdriver to remove these three screws and set them aside, ensuring they are kept separate from the screws for the casing to avoid confusion.

• Carefully remove the old battery and check the battery connector to ensure it isn't damaged.
• Take the new battery and align it with the battery slot, making sure the connector fits correctly.
• When installing the new battery, ensure it's properly oriented and not inserted in the wrong direction.

• After installing the new battery, reassemble the laptop by tightening the screws that were removed earlier.
• Double-check that each screw is tightened securely to ensure the battery is firmly in place.
• Reinstall the optical drive by sliding it back into its original position, making sure it's securely fitted.

• Tighten the screws on the back case of your laptop.
• Power it on and test it to see if it works properly.
